Slime Survivors

The game gets straight to the point, skipping complicated introductions or story. As soon as you start, you're dropped into a central hub that doubles as the main menu. From here, you have four key areas to explore, but the most important is the portal located at the bottom of the screen, a gateway to starting a run. Another tempting area is the tent, where you select your character. There are six characters in total, but only the first one is available from the start. The remaining five must be unlocked by meeting two separate requirements. The first requirement is tied to specific in-game milestones. Thankfully, these are shown and are achieved by simply playing the game a lot, so there’s no ambiguity or guesswork involved. In fact, you’ll unlock the second character just by dying once, which is very likely to happen during your initial run. The second requirement involves a special in-game currency: gems. These are rare and are typically earned by defeating tougher enemies. Each new character becomes progressively more expensive, requiring more gems than the last. Not a bad game I guess, just not ready imo. PS gamepad does not work. UI has at least one small bug. Weapons aren't described, and most suck. Very grindy. But all in all I've seen a lot worse among the more popular and expensive BH offerings, like Letifer. (Such a disappointment.) Like this is an undercooked game between letifer and nimrods, with kind of a megabonk aesthetic. The gameplay itself is fine, very competent approach to the BH VS thing, but yea, i'd wait unless you really need a new BH entry.
