Slime Evolution

Vampire Survivors for poor gaymers.

Slime Evolution is a really simple survival roguelike, but I found the basic idea surprisingly enjoyable. I play as a little slime wandering around a forest, eating resources, fighting monsters and slowly becoming stronger. It has that satisfying feeling of starting out weak and gradually turning into something much more dangerous, while knowing that getting too powerful also brings stronger enemies after me. The main mechanic I liked is how eating different resources determines my starting element and influences the way I develop. From there I can fight enemies, collect their drops and continue evolving along different elemental paths. I enjoyed experimenting with these choices because they give each run a slightly different direction. It is not an incredibly complicated system, but it gives me enough control to make my slime feel like it is developing rather than simply gaining bigger numbers. Combat is straightforward, with me moving around the forest and attacking enemies while trying not to get surrounded. Positioning becomes increasingly important as more dangerous creatures appear. Hey! I love this game so much! I see a lot of potential in this game, and woudl love to see wok done on this! I def. think this could be better than even Vampire Survivors, keep at it. To anyone thingking about playing this game DO IT. it takes a very short time to install, and tis good to support indie devs! it might be simple, but its worth playing for a short time.

i enjoyed it. definitely worth a couple bucks, especially if you like slimes. for once, a game made stone abilities goated, as they should be.
