About SLUDGE LIFE

✦ AI summary

Spray paint your way to graffiti glory on a polluted island full of weird characters and cigarettes in this open-world vandalism simulator with a uniquely grimy vibe. Pursue multiple endings by tagging every surface, infiltrating the sludge corporation, or just causing chaos while discovering absurd secrets and playing games within the game.

SLUDGE LIFE is a first-person / open-world / vandalism-centric stroll through a polluted island full of cranky idiots and a vibe so thick you can taste it.

Roam a tiny island stuck on a sludge covered planet as an upcoming tagger GHOST set on staking their claim amongst the graffiti elite. Traverse the corporately branded landscape, chat up other taggers, and discover secrets and idiots along the way. Will you become the king of the island and tag every open inch, infiltrate sludge-pumping corporation GLUG to find a way out, or just take it all down in flames with you?
  • Experience the thrills of vandalism from the safety of your computer.
  • Curiosity and free will are your only motivators - roll as you please.
  • Find and download apps to your laptop and waste your life away playing a game in a game.
  • Smoke Ciggy Cigs brand cigarettes. Smoke ‘em up real good.
  • Take photos of exotic fauna and ambivalent NPCs.
  • Dedicated fart button.
  • A huge baby, community basketball court, and a cat with two buttholes. \
  • Three distinct endings and a pretty robust credits.

Game Complexity: A funny small open world to explore. Game Difficulty: There is no purpose in this game except of its exploration and the achievements. Achievements Complexity: Find the collectables, complete all the endings and do some extra actions. Achievements Difficulty: It takes some time to complete them but you can read guides to complete them faster.

I can't say exactly why, but this game never got boring. Its gameplay loop is simple, it doesn't have much challenge, there's barely a story, the mechanics are bare bones, but...idk, I loved it. It's like nothing else I've ever played. It really feels like a world you stepped into by accident, and it grounds you in that world in some pretty subtle ways. It makes you curious what you'll find next. Also, Big Mud is lit af. I'll definitely play more from this dev. I'd much rather someone like this get my money than Bethesda, or Rockstar, or whatever corporate greedhead hellhole drops the next AAA that keeps sucking people in even though its just the same boring, recycled assets with slightly better resolution this year than last, all for the low price of like $100 and every illusion of privacy you have left. If you ask me, Sludge Life is exactly what video games are for, experimenting with living in the ideas in someone else's mind. That said, some people probably gonna think it's boring. 🤷‍♂️

Short and cute. Filter is a little nauseating but otherwise a pretty good bite-sized game.
