Players are divided on this incremental game. Fans praise its clever upgrade system, satisfying "aha" moments of discovery, engaging snake mechanics that evolve as you progress, and good value for money, while detractors find it boring compared to other incrementals and frustrating due to poorly designed achievement systems that force multiple playthroughs without clear guidance on how to unlock certain content.
So far this has been nothing but miserable, certainly not a fun incremental game where you spend 10-15 mins beating your head against a brick wall because the further you progress the more the game feels like the game progression turns into a sluggish nightmare, especially once you unlock the pink currency feels like no matter what i do, no matter how well i play, no matter how i strategize with healing, armor, green bar healing while make sure i always heal the damage before getting more armor you just have this annoying tongue that pinks up a pink or yellow that insta takes away a life or insta kills & even when you feel like you tried so hard to survive & collect as much currency as possible you go back to a upgrade screen where you cant buy anything to help with the pain 10-15 mins later after trying again and again and again its obnoxious and infuriating to play when you cant upgrade ♥♥♥♥ to help with the cancer that is tier 7, i just had to leave a negative review while I'm playing because this is cancerous gameplay for an incremental, where you play over & over so many times have nothing to upgrade to help with this cancerous hell your being put through and even when you fee…1 found this helpful

Nice game in its genre! Minor complaints: * Pink skin is practically hurting for eyes; * Colorless nodes are hard to distinguish between available/not because of the framing; * Pixel graphics are quite too pixelated: if you scale out the skill tree it'll blend into a mess of pixels; * You can't really tell how much of each currency you have, because each x1000 (thousand, million, billion, etc) is just marked with random symbol; Major complaints: * Too overstretched progression: you'll often have to grind currencies without being able to purchase any upgrades in-between; Positives: * Runs nicely on a Steam Deck; * Music is basic, but fitting the mood enough; * Easy mode (snake doesn't move until you send the directional input); * Simple, but funny, suitable ending; * Price is just USD 2-3 (in my region).
I came to do the review before finishing because honestly I'd rather do anything else than play this game. It's tedious and repetitive and the progression tree is unnecessarily punishing. The game loop is tired and basically the same every round. If I had to complement anything on the game there is one nice feature I've come across and that's the snake tongue. It's colourful too, but irredeemable.
I really wanted to like this and tried to give it a full chance but the grind is painful and the controls randomly become unresponsive. I like snake but I cannot recommend this
Games good, Wormhole skin is the bane of my existance, I've played through the game 3 times. First a normal playthrough, didn't know about the secret so I missed it. Second playthrough was entirely for the wormhole and I accidentally clicked the upgrade halfway through. The third one is the worst, I got the out of bounds achievement but didn't know how to get the skin, I just assumed it would be in the shop like the others, so I bought the mirror walls upgrade and looked around the shop. Yeah, I locked myself out of it AGAIN. Change this somehow, I really want to 100% this game but having to play the entire game over again just to get an unfair achievement just isn't fun. I'm not playing through the game AGAIN for some dumb 100% badge. I know this sounds overly dramatic but this actually ruined the game for me
