This game is great. I have played all Sniper Elite games and this is very similar but I like the contemporary environment and weapons, I might have done it wrong, but I feel like you do more sniping in this versus the elite series. The sniper animations are different between the series but I think I may prefer this one do to the chunks of meat flying around and visible on the ground after a kill.
This is an amazing sniping game especially if you play it on veteran (hardest diff.)
Some challenges can be difficult to achive not due to difficulty, but to some game breaking bugs. Said that, I really enjoy the game and its dopamine-spike-inducing bullet cams.
Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts is basically a stripped-down, focused sniper experience, and honestly it works better when you stop expecting a big story or traditional campaign. Because there really isn’t one — it’s more like a set of missions stitched together than an actual narrative. The sniping, though, is very well done. From scope adjustments to bullet physics and gun customization, this is where the game actually shines. It finally feels like a proper sniper game instead of just a military shooter with a sniper rifle. Stealth is also solid, but it doesn’t always feel necessary since a lot of missions can still be handled in more direct ways. The contracts themselves, however, can feel a bit bland and repetitive after a while, which made me honestly relieved when I finished the game. The maps are diverse and well designed, and they’re probably one of the stronger parts of the overall package. Still, they don’t fully save the mission structure, which can feel a bit boring over time. Gunplay is good, but it doesn’t really feel groundbreaking for a 2019 release. It’s something you’ve seen done in other franchises around 2016–2017 already, so it doesn’t stand out as …
Not very good. Fact simple as that.
Same game as last time but no patch to any of the bugs
