Sniper: Art of Victory is a World War II tactical shooter developed and published by City Interactive that places players in the role of an elite Allied marksman operating behind enemy lines during some of the conflict's most significant campaigns. Released before sniper-focused shooters became a more established subgenre, the game attempted to offer an alternative to the fast-paced action dominating military shooters at the time. Instead of emphasizing constant movement and overwhelming firepower, it encourages careful observation, patience, and precision. Although its age is apparent in many areas, the game remains notable for its ambition and for laying the foundation of ideas that would later be expanded in future sniper-focused titles. The campaign takes players across several wartime locations, including operations on the Eastern Front and in Italy. Missions are structured around objectives such as eliminating key enemy officers, supporting Allied offensives, gathering intelligence, and infiltrating hostile territory. This variety helps maintain a steady pace throughout the campaign while reinforcing the fantasy of serving as a specialized sniper rather than a conventional f…

A "classic" City Interactive game... This is super-bad! Basically, nothing works in this game. Everything is bad! DO NOT BUY! I REPEAT! DO NOT BUY!

Idk how the developers managed to make the movement feel like running on ice with your shoes on and to only move and stop when the game lets you. Aiming is the worst out of any game I have played and I will request a refund, but the almost 2hrs i put into it make me feel like I should keep it as a badge of persistence due to how ass the game is. A solid 1/5 experience that I think any serious offender should have to play on veteran without missing a shot or dying once throughout the whole game.

I like old games, I play a lot of them. This is not one worth spending your time playing. Much better out there from 2008. Much better out there in terms of wwii games. Not even worth the buck I spent on it.

Honestly its a bad game probably beyond bad but there is some type of charm that comes with it. Its janky its ugly and the shooting mechanics might as well be out the window, with hit boxes not working properly and bullets that seem to go through enemies as if I just shot them with a pillow case but all in all with that being said its a short 2-4 hour experience that serves as a decent time killer. I completed it on Veteran which led to many bs deaths but if you play on recruit you'll blow through it no time. Its just a simple little time killer, its nostalgic to me because I found this at a bargain bin at the big lots back in the day in my home town so they may be why I hold it highly. But with that being said its an obscure game that's somewhat fun even though its bad to the core.
