About Social Moth
Social Moth is a narrative platformer where you play as a small moth contending with social anxiety. Set in a close-knit community on the forest floor, the game allows the player to explore themes of mental health, relationships, and finding a sense of belonging.
Play as Aletris, a moth, struggling through interactions with other community members through dialogue choices that alter their anxiety level. Platform through the area surrounding your lantern home, finding collectibles and helpful friends throughout the environment that will lower your constantly rising anxiety. If Aletris gets too anxious and is unable to find any way to ground themselves, they'll come face to face with a manifestation of their anxiety...
Our goal is for players who have experience with social anxiety to find a comforting and relatable story in Social Moth. For those unfamiliar with social anxiety, the game offers a compelling lens into ways anxiety can manifest itself even in seemingly mundane interactions, in hopes of inspiring more compassion and support for those who struggle with social anxiety.

Adorable ~2 hour game, it is a steal at the $1 price. The anxiety mechanic was surprisingly relatable and Aletris is so cute I just want to hug them! 10/10 game I ended up replaying it about 3 times1 found this helpful

Amazingly cute game with no pretention whatsoever. The story is nice and cozy, while also feeling real. The art is really cute, the mechanics work well, and the voice acting feels like the cherry on top ! I finished this game in less than 2 hours, but i am sure to go back to it whenever i will be feeling sad or anxious. Because it feels good playing as this little anxious moth, going around and being kind to self ♥ Overall, this game feels like a little hidden gem
This is such a short but sweet game. I love moths so much, they're honestly one of my favorite creatures, so finding a game about a moth with a problem that I have (albeit much worse) and being able to work through it? It's so comforting for me and I find myself coming back to it regularly whenever I'm feeling down. Thank you for your work devs. This game is great
A really sweet game! This has nice advice for anyone dealing with anxiety, and the game itself was really fun! I'm surprised this game is only a dollar too.
