"Society's Paradigms" is a godawfully bad 2D retro pixelcrap "I Can't Believe It's Not RPG Maker" Unity based JRPG with action combat and crappy politics injected into the core of the gameplay. The developers were too lazy to finish the game, in fact, they were too lazy to even create content so the world is all samey procgen garbage. I wonder why this was such a complete and utter failure? The developers abandoned this 2 years and 8 months ago. It will never be completed. This unfinished game is just polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuinely, completely made games. This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. Bonus: While some of the pixelcrap looks, well, crap even for pixelcrap, a lot of it looks like flipped…2 found this helpful
Originally a $6.99 game that went Free. The quests sucked and the world wasn't interesting to explore. The skill progression and combat weren't fun.2 found this helpful
