About Sockventure

Sockventure is a story about a kid whose favorite sock gets eaten by a cursed washing machine. Kid needs immediate help and calls superhero to the rescue and the adventure begins. Make your way through the dangerous levels to find the missing sock inside the washing machine!

Beat over 200 levels of hardcore platforming, get new skills such as wall jumping, dashing and stomping and bring the socks back safely. Unlock Dark Chapters, collect Coins, beat Challenges and find the missing Socks.

Why has this game so few reviews? This is a great and fun game, especially on a Steam Deck. The official Steam page shows "unknown" Steam Deck suppport, but it works perfectly. Really recommended !!3 found this helpful

very nice game!
I played the game and got to Chapter 3 and the mechanics are from Celeste and Super Meat Boy , Don't play this just buy Celeste or Super Meat Boy
It's a fun platformer. Worth the buy honestly.
Was going to give this game a positive review until the last level. The game itself has tight platforming and controls, good hitboxes. The levels are kind of boring and the game is rather short. But overall I had fun through 85% of it. Then theres the final level. It's a race against rising lava, which can be fun or annoying depending on how its done. This game forces you to use the worst and most finnicky mechanic in the game, the dash jump and dash wall jump, a mechanic people are still complaining about to this day years later because of how unreliable it is. You're supposed to press at the perfect exact time or it fails. So you need to do a bunch of those in a row in a timed segment......sound fun? Oh wait also the lava rises at such a rate that if you literally don't get every jump perfect in takeoff and landing to be as efficient as possible you will get killed by the lava. Why theres no room for error or they didn't program 1-2 seconds of lag time is asinine to me. They even include single block platforms so your landing must be perfect or your instant lose. Be ready to spend 1 hr on a single part. You never feel like the failure is your party because its mostly due to t…
