Game with 50 extremely challenging puzzles with leaderboards. Part of a 3 game series, with this offering the most challenge. Very minimalistic graphics, which I am ok with, and with color presets that can be changed, but there is also next to no music - other than some ambient noise - which I think the game would greatly benefit from. The main issue with the game is no rewind button - a single mistake can force the player to restart the level from scratch. Decently priced, and will be a great addition to anyone who is into very serious and hard puzzle challenges. 8/10

SOK MAX, developed and published by Siberian Mouse, is a stripped-down and demanding puzzle game that carries forward the tradition of the sokoban genre with precision and restraint. It is the sequel to the developer’s earlier minimalist titles, and like its predecessors, it centers entirely on one thing—pure logic. The premise is straightforward: move boxes across a grid and push them into designated positions. But what appears simple on the surface quickly reveals itself to be a meticulous test of foresight, spatial reasoning, and patience. It’s a formula that has endured for decades, but in SOK MAX, it’s delivered with such sharp focus that it feels both timeless and merciless. From the very beginning, the game makes its philosophy clear. There are no distractions, no elaborate tutorials, no story or soundtrack to guide your mood. You are placed in front of a clean, grid-based environment—boxes, tiles, targets—and told to solve. The lack of background music and minimal visual design give the experience an almost meditative atmosphere, though one tinged with tension rather …

Played on Steam Deck. Another batch of standard sokoban puzzles. I like the larger puzzles in this "max" pack, which felt like they had a little bit of elbow room and shifted the puzzle from a tight unyielding knot to a layout and planning situation.

Firstly, this game is really hard, I wouldn't have done it without guide. Secondly, it is not even fun or enjoyable, even in the guide, one level is over more than 20 lines of arrows. I mean, for the achievements.. I don't think just achievements are worth playing all these levels
