Underrated! If you want a deep strategy game I can understand not liking it but I feel the negative reviews are mostly really harsh people with hardly any playtime. This fits a niche for those who enjoy some more relaxed strategy. I'm not always in the mood to sweat and click a million times. I think it's fun to set stuff up and watch it work. You can still totally get your ass kicked if you don't set up right. The main star of this game is the art and world they've created. This is one of the most original, creative, and beautiful fantasy games I've ever played. I look at the art for every unit, hero, city, monster, whatever and read all the descriptions. This universe they have created is so effing fascinating and I'd recommend the game on that alone. Voice acting is also phenomenal. The people saying there's "No strategy" are being very dramatic. There is absolutely strategy involved. The position of your units and their types matter quite a bit. Same with traversing the world... You can get caught with your pants down if you run out of movement in a bad place or have a city taken because you didn't leave a hero in a good defensive position. Sure, it may not be Total War or A…

I don't know if the game is fine in solo, but if you want to multiplayer here is what I got in the few minutes I (tried to) play: - turns are not in parallel, so you have to wait for the other players to finish their turns, old style - you are disconnected from the servers every 2 to 5 minutes I would not recommend it for multiplayer yet, I'll change this maybe later if it is improved on those points.

Something is off with the graphics and the UI: - I'm forced to set the UI to 120%, otherwise it's far too small, but as a result, it gets a bit blurry. - The 3D graphics are somewhat blurry and very small, it's hard to tell what the units actually look like. - The artwork is gorgeous, but heavily detailed to the point where it overwhelms your eyes. Overall, it makes for a very tiring, if not unpleasant, visual experience. I can't see myself spending hours navigating through this. On top of that, combat is an absolute mess and feels way too cartoony. Refunded.

Very good game

I really enjoyed the unique art and worldbuilding of this game, its strange and beautiful to look at and I find myself wanting to play just to learn more about the world and the different factions. Gameplay wise its not a extremely tactical game, its an autobattler and you play cards with cooldowns that buff your units, make them invincible, stun or blow up enemy units to shift the battle to your favour and there is a bit of randomness to the combat. Some people will not like this, but I think its a nice change of pace because many of the strategy games I play are so complex as to be exhausting to play all the time. The one thing I am disappointed about is that I wanted more campaigns and challenge maps, theres a decent number to play for a time but I think it would be really cool if there were player-made challenge maps and a map editor to make them.

Art is pleasing. It is a combination of heroes and civ. If you are a fan than definitely a pick. For me, it's a little bit slow and has a lot of back-and-forth movements. Also, the dark side is annoying; I would prefer only one map.
