Songtail: Whiskers of Destiny

The concept was neat. Solve mysteries, present the conclusion you drew through song by picking lyrics. Cool. The artstyle is also lovely. But it lacks severely in execution. - There is hardly any mystery to solve. - There's not much story. While the little dialogue you have with character is nice and shows quirky personalities, it's not nearly enough. I'd wanted to see more. - The verses and outfits you pick don't change the outcome at all. For act 1, I picked a certain person, and the verse and outfit I picked reflected that, yet the outcome was that I still accused the other person. - Then, for the final act, it just gave the outcome of all 3 choices, so it didn't matter which one you picked either. - The music doesn't seem to match the instrument you picked, either. You can pick between flute, lyre, and harp, Doesn't matter. - It's a 3 key VSRG but the keybinds can't be changed and are abysmal; the 1, 2, and 3 key. - Furthermore the patterns have absolutely nothing to do with the music, and on hardest difficulty is still insanely easy. - Then, the game is also ridiculously short, especially for it's price.
