At a young age, Yuu Kisaragi received magical powers from a mysterious old man.
He longed to use them to defeat evil, but in the end, he was never given the opportunity.

Cut to the present.
Yuu is living as a perfectly ordinary young guy, until one day he rescues a beautiful girl.
Her name is Michaela, and she is a witch with a sorrowful fate.

From that day on, Yuu's life starts to change for the weirder.
There are sorcerers after the girl, and a chaotic battle is closing in on him, whether he's ready for it or not.

Unlike their other game, BAD END, this game is terribly translated, and, being a visual novel, this makes it practically unplayable. Each line takes re-reading several times and guesswork to find its meaning, and as such I'm lost before I even finish the prologue. The story, from what I have read, seems a little cheesy, which isn't a problem, BAD END certainly wasn't literary excellence, however when coupled with the poor translation, makes it feel like you're reading a young child's story. The developers have previously managed to release solid titles, despite their cheesiness, however with the game in its current state, I would recommend you leave this one on your follow list and wait for an update on the translation so that you can start to make sense of it. Until that time, I do suggest going and checking out their other game, BAD END, to get a feel for what this developer can release when on form.

Sorcerer's Dream is a fantasy visual novel developed by Arai Koh Create Office and published by YOX-Project. It centers on a narrative-driven experience where player decisions shape the direction of the story, placing its emphasis on character relationships, magical intrigue, and multiple endings instead of traditional gameplay systems. Designed for fans of interactive storytelling, it blends romance, mystery, and supernatural adventure into a journey that rewards careful reading and thoughtful choices. The story follows Yuu Kisaragi, a seemingly ordinary young man whose childhood encounter with a mysterious old man granted him magical powers. As a child, he imagined himself becoming a legendary hero, but those dreams gradually faded as he settled into a peaceful and uneventful life. His quiet routine is shattered when he saves a young witch named Michaela, whose appearance draws him into a hidden world of sorcerers, ancient conflicts, and dangerous enemies. What begins as a chance meeting quickly evolves into an adventure where destiny, sacrifice, and powerful magic become intertwined with Yuu's forgotten past. The game's premise succeeds because it gradually reveals its secrets …
