About Bewitched: Part 1

The protagonist, a boy named Thomas, has a difficult life. It gets even worse when his father marries a woman who simply can’t stand her stepson. His whole life changes with a sudden trip to his aunt, whom he visited once many years ago. Now he is definitely distracted from all sad thoughts, because his aunt Alice is a real witch who has a talking cat and a bunch of magical things, and her house is not exactly the right place for little boys. But despite all the dangers, Thomas accepts the challenge and firmly decides to reach the heights of potion-making and to reveal all the secrets hidden behind the magical barrier.

This is like Naruto meets Harry Potter but for kindergarteners, not a proper visual novel too, more like a point & click quest, really. The gameplay is extremely simplistic and boorishly tedious, 6-8 hours advertised in the description are a stretch but the game was never finished properly so there's that. Once again, the dev is from ruzzia so I'm not surprised.14 found this helpful
Beautiful art and amusing story.8 found this helpful
To be continued when? An interesting Visual Novel interwoven with light Point&Click gameplay about magic, mystery and family. Standing out very quickly is the art and great level of detail put into it. The menu itself already shows this, especially the Settings menu. There are plenty of CGs, some even slightly animated with a bit of movement. In terms of design the backgrounds and characters are all coherent with the world they are in yet stand out individually as well. Looking at the different witches they all have an overarching design philosophy you can notice in the details, but are wholly different from each other. The creature designs are equally as creative and overall great. There is plenty of action to be found in the story even during supposed quieter parts due to the world being a rather dangerous one. Aside from that early on the magic is what draws you in much like Thomas, though as you get used to the world the personal stories of the characters keeps you engaged until the mystery kicks in. The world building, particularly around the workings of magic, is pretty good in that it keeps things mostly vague. There’s enough information to get an idea of the magic system, b…1 found this helpful
Its a cute game, I finally got the final achievement, apparently you have to change the game to the Russian version if you want to get the achievement. Other than that, I enjoyed it a lot1 found this helpful
This was a really cute little game! Beautiful drawings and really friendly characters. It was like a romp back in time to an awesome summer vacation we all might have wished to have. The point and click game mechanics are a ton of fun and you quickly get set up for harder challenges - but at that point it becomes mostly story. Still it's definitely hours and hours of fun with cute animations and fun characters. While I can hardly complain, if this were a more expensive title, I saw so many possibilities that this game 'could' have taken at many points in the story. The biggest gripe I had was that the house area was the most difficult, but once you get beyond the house, the basic mechanic is almost discarded and the story is mostly... story? There are a few little quest games, but nothing as difficult as the house area and afterwards, it suddenly feels like the game becomes 'linear' in nature. I suspect the developers were under more stress here because I can see opportunities for exploration around every corner. They don't get taken and instead the story moves to the next character or plot point. Seriously, the board covering a path downstairs in your room, the hinted dream poti…1 found this helpful
Ein charmantes farbenfrohes visual novel mit einigen Minispielen und mehreren Enden (also Dead ends). Die Geschichte wird laut Entwickler fortgesetzt.
