A long time ago, humans created your race, a hybrid of cat and man. to be their slave warriors and fight their wars for them.
But after long years of servitude, these space cats turned against their creators and fought for their freedom.
Eventually, they forced humans to sign a treaty liberating the whole Catkind… but your kind is still despised and feared, even though they are fierce warriors and skilled pilots.
You are Captain Mitzi, a mercenary hired to smuggle the ship Curiosity to a remote corner of the galaxy. Turns out the job had more to it than you thought: now you’re running for your lives with the government’s ships hot on your heels! Every encounter has different outcomes and every decision will impact your destiny, so choose wisely: you can be a righteous hero or a vengeful pirate, talk your way out of things like a charming rogue or escape gun blazing.

This game isn't just a cat space combat game. This game implements some less used mechanics such as interacting with the interior rooms of your ship and being in different rooms does different things. It's honestly a good mechanic that more games should use aswell. The combat is good. The demo poses no challenge at all with the current ship weapons damage, ship speed and enemy ships being too slow to keep in weapons range and too weak to deal the killing blows when within range. This isn't a bad thing if the storyline is engaging and good. With the derelict ship interaction it's looking like the events will be good. But the combat can do with more of a sense of danger. Just spawning in next to a bunch of enemy ships that'd have otherwise never remained close to you will get old if this happens often. But having no risks involved thanks to your missiles and beam weapon can make combat stale. May be worth the main characters somehow losing their ship and the player having to rebuy the missile room and the beam weapon. The basic main gun is well balanced with damage output and short range.1 found this helpful
This is seriously ambitious and impressive for being made by a single person, all the respect to you Alex! The graphics are professional and pretty, the UI is clear and concise, and the game-play is very solid. There are some minor bugs and things that could be streamlined but otherwise I had fun playing through the demo and I'm excited to see what you've got in store for the full release!1 found this helpful
