About SPECIAL FORCE VR: INFINITY WAR

Scenario
In the near future, the situation of the world falls into deterioration as territorial disputes for securing resources and civil war to protect the nation and religion.
The military intervention in the disputed area of the United States, Russia, and other major powers continued, and China, which emerged on the strength of this powerful economic power, is also taking part in power games. It was the arrival of the so-called "A New Cold War".
The United States felt the need for a new military paradigm for maintaining order and power, and created a Military Alliance Force (MAF), which is shaped differently from the existing Peacekeeping Force, by bringing together the countries that have maintained diplomatic ties, including the EU. Russia and China, feeling a sense of crisis, have united the South American military alliance and the Middle Eastern countries that have established a diplomatic confrontation with the United States and from the Anti-US Alliance. They advocated peace in the world and a balanced development of the world, so official military movements were impossible. However, each country needed a military organization capable of carrying out complex and diverse operations in various fields in order to protect its own interests and its citizens, and this became the main role of the Special Forces in each country.
Experienced on the Meta Quest 2
You can view my review & gameplay here: https://youtu.be/HTldt2tfHac If I had $20 bucks for every abandoned Steam Early Access game I have ever bought, then I'd be rolling in the dough right now. Yes, this is another Steam Early Access game that was abandoned by the devs, left to rot in Early Access hell for the rest of eternity or until Valve exists. At least they lowered the price to $5.99 USD back in 2020, about a year after it released in Early Access in 2019 for $24.99 USD normal price. I will admit, this game looks very good for a 2019 PCVR game. It looks better than any Quest stand-alone game. It had a ton of potential. It just needed more polish, more maps, more game modes, & a satisfying progression system to unlock new weapons, gear, & attachments. Unfortunately, none of those things came to pass and this game does have some pretty serious bugs. Game is running on the Unreal Engine. On my RTX 3080, I was getting mostly 90 fps. HOWEVER, when using the sniper rifle, the game frame rates would tank severely making the game unplayable when using the sniper rifle. You do have full locomotion, but you only have snap turning available…

After reading several of the negative reviews about this game, I figured I just had to see for myself. This is the sort of game that shows you what VR should be capable of. It asks you to manipulate your virtual environment, under a sense of stress. It's a high order to ask from this constantly improving technology. And if you try to compare it side to side with a different FPS VR game (like Onward), there are some shortcomings for sure. First of all I was playing this game using an Acer Predator Helios 300 and an Acer WMR headset. I'd call that a mid-line setup; nothing too fancy. The game works fairly well with the WMR hand controllers. When I'm playing Onward I prefer to use my Oculus Rift S or Quest with link cable as that game's controls are much better adapted for the Oculus controllers. With this game I'd have to say that the WMR controllers performed much better and are a bit more intuitive (especially the touch pad on the shooting hand). It's practically impossible to run in Onward with the WMR controllers but it's pretty easy and straightforward with Special Force VR using the touchpad for motion control. One drawback I found was that at times the weapon and other item…

Another great proof of concept absolutely worth the money. But needs gun play improvements implemented. A- you have to remove the button grip/button un-grip, this should be button held in to hold and button released to drop this will also allow you to change hands so firing from cover works on left or right side B- Not so much an issue but the red dot is way to high above bore, most guns in real life are co-witness so the red dot lines up exactly with the iron sights the more options you add the more friendly the game is to a larger audience keep up the good work id imagine this will be a must have vr multiplayer fps
