"Spin Foward" is a relaxing and casual roguelike slot-building game. It combines elements from Lucky Landlord and Slay the Spire, simplifying the mechanics. In the game, players only need to press the spacebar to experience exponential growth in game stats, delivering an exhilarating sensation of conquering everything in seconds. While pay-to-win games may require thousands or tens of thousands of dollars for the thrill of drawing an orange card, here you can feel that excitement by defeating just a few monsters.Getting bored easily? Not at all. There are over 200 (in the demo phase) bizarre and unique runes and relics for you to mix and explore. You can use a helmet rune to stun monsters, use a shoe rune to kick them away, turn monsters into sheep with a staff, freeze them with a frozen staff, summon slimes, poison your weapons, and even get an automatic robot to turn the game into an idle experience. There's also a catapult, daggers, throwing knives, bows, dice, potions... Still not enough? The game even includes an 8-bit gaming system where you can collect cartridges to play mini-games.

The first step is to choose one of several available modes. While the core gameplay remains the same across all of them, you can opt to make things easier or ramp up the difficulty. For example, "Glass" mode gives you only one health point, but in return you deal double damage. You also choose your character, though aside from the first one, the rest must be unlocked by progressing through stages. Each run is randomized and plays out similarly to other roguelite games. You move through nodes on a map, occasionally choosing between branching paths. Each node has an icon that indicates what you'll encounter there. Most involve combat, marked by a monster icon, but you’ll also come across merchants, treasure chests, and special events where you’ll make decisions that affect your reward. The gameplay is fairly simple and doesn’t require much input. Most of the time, you just pull a slot machine lever to generate symbols on a 5x5 grid. The symbols that appear depend on what’s in your inventory. You start with a few basic ones and earn new ones after each battle. Noice, necro OP
fun game but still needs some polish. Some descriptions still have words stuck together without any spacing and others have a phrase saying something like translate to English. so you have to kind of puzzle out how some items work. but for the cost of a soda its pretty good with a nice selection of modes and characters with different play styles.
Fantastic little slot-style roguelite. It's a bit rough, with some information and translations still needed. I think I've run into some item trigger bugs as well. It did only drop two months ago, though, and for the price it's absolutely worth snagging if you enjoy this sort of thing. Really hoping this gets the polish it deserves!
