I'd give this one a neutral review if I could. I know that this is a student game, and this one has a little bit of bias with me, I'm a fan of Breda University games typically. It's definitely not bad, but it's just very basic. You only get a small handful of towers to build, and three guns of your own. As far as enemies go, it's more of the same, only a few different types, and they're pretty basic too. There was an intent for this to be a multiplayer game, but I don't think that any of that works (I might be wrong on that). I think what might have happened is that with the limited time that the devs had to make the game, they had to choose quality or quantity, and they chose visual quality, so the game looks nice, and plays nicely, but there just isn't much "game in the game". If you like FPS tower defense games, and are just looking for something to waste a bit of time on, you can definitely do worse, just don't expect too much.

Понравился широкий выбор улучшений и оружия, позволяющий адаптировать стратегию под свой стиль игры. Визуальный стиль минималистичен, но приятен глазу, а динамичный саундтрек добавляет адреналина в напряженных моментах. Сложность постепенно возрастает, заставляя постоянно искать новые способы улучшения корабля и тактики боя. Небольшие недочеты в балансе некоторых видов оружия компенсируются постоянными обновлениями и улучшениями, вносимыми разработчиками. Реиграбельность на высоте, хочется снова и снова испытывать удачу, проходя все дальше в бесконечной космической гонке за выживание. В целом, это отличный таймкиллер, который легко освоить, но сложно оторваться. Рекомендую всем любителям roguelike-игр и космических сражений.

"Stellar Survivor" is an abandoned Early Access student project from Breda.... and as a professional training institute, you would expect they would teach students to [i]finish their damned games before publishing them[/i]. This is an exceptional failure from Breda, and given they permitted this, indeed, endorsed it and are responsible for it, game dev students may want to think twice before applying there. Abandoned Early Access games pollute Steam, give indie devs a bad name, and are bad for everyone. This was a promising looking FPS, who doesn't love blasting aliens? So in this case it's a big shame Breda did the wrong thing and dumped unfinished software onto Steam and walked away from it. The developers abandoned this 5 years and 6 months ago. It will never be completed. This unfinished game is just polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuinely, completely made games. The graphics in this game are really quite good, which at least makes the game look more appealing. And while it's vital for any game to have impressive visuals (gaming is a visual medium, after all), there's more to a game than just the graphics. To be worth a gamers time, the game …
