Fun idea and some interesting pictures to look at but unfortunately I feel the stereoscopic effect superimposed on the old photos makes them worse than if they were just presented in 2D. It makes the people and other foreground objects in the photos look like cardboard cutouts against a backdrop. If it's possible, I recommend that the developers add an option to just view the images in 2D and organize them into easily sorted categories, to make it into a nice 'virtual museum' experience.

Wow, I'm so impressed with this digitised archive of 3D stereograph images. The app presents them through an intuitive thoughtfully designed 3D environment with the images grouped accordingly into a series of mainly geographical locations. Teleport to each collection and simply use the right and left trigger buttons to move forward and backwards through each image in the collection. It opens up a stunning view into a series of bygone ages. Occasionally there are images which don't seem to align correctly or focus and hurt my eyes to look at, but most are clear with a surprising three dimensional depth to them. As the previous reviewer alluded to, some foreground objects/characters can appear a bit cardboard cutout like, but I suspect to a large extent that's inherent to the stereograph image technique and I didn't feel it really detracted from the interest the images hold. The option to show a 2D version might be an advantage given those two previous issues, if that was the viewer's preference. I personally would have liked to have had access to more information about the source material, dates etc, but given the amount of work that must have gone into this I'm not complain…

Amazing look back at life across the globe 120 years ago. They are sorted by theme. You position yourself facing the wall display and cycle forwards or backwards through the stereographs displayed on the wall. Height is optimized for seated. About 5% of the stereographs were not sitting in the scanner correctly, some were bowed, some were not level, tilting your head can fix some of the latter. Works on vive pro 2 with wand controllers.

Oculus Quest 2? Forget it. Almost no buttons work, the controllers buzz like they're possessed — nonstop, draining the battery like crazy. Walk up to any painting and your eyes go completely cross-eyed, like they're trying to look at each other in panic. Amazing experience...
