Story is an unusual RPG game which leaves you a lot of place for your own interpretation of in-game events, characters and your own choices. The title refers to the fact that you create your own story rather than you are given one just to read. It doesn't mean that there's no plot but the plot is left for you to uncover in your own way.

Игра 'Story' - это не просто игра, это погружение в череду небольших историй, каждая из которых трогает за душу по-своему. Визуальный стиль, выполненный в минималистичном, но очень атмосферном ключе, создает ощущение камерности происходящего. Геймплей прост, но эффективен: в основном это текстовые приключения с выбором, где каждое решение влияет на развитие событий и концовку. Что особенно понравилось – это сильная эмоциональная составляющая. Несмотря на лаконичность повествования, истории цепляют своей искренностью и человечностью. Поднимаются важные темы, такие как любовь, потеря, надежда, и все это подано очень деликатно и без излишней драмы. Однако, стоит отметить, что игра может показаться короткой. Некоторые истории хотелось бы изучить глубже. Тем не менее, это скорее комплимент, чем недостаток – игра оставляет после себя приятное послевкусие и желание перепройти ее, чтобы увидеть другие варианты развития событий. 'Story' - отличный выбор для тех, кто ищет короткие, но запоминающиеся интерактивные истории.
"Story" is a failed, mostly Unity asset flipped 3D rendered top down "ARPG"-lite that looks to be the product of just rearranging stuff on a Unity game pack/blueprint... it's deplorably bad (the developer couldn't even work out how to do sound effects, but had no problems working out how to do paid DLC). What do you do in the game? just plod around asset flipped environments and tap baddies on the head. Or not. The graphics aren't great, mostly due to low quality "poly" assets being flipped... that will understandably be a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. Even after that, this is only free in a rudimentary sense... the developer has their hand out a $5 USD "donation" DLC for this as you're expected to buy extra DLC from Steam to "support" the developer... digital panhandling. Like the homeless guys who splash dirty water on your windscreen at the traffic lights. No thanks. Even though this is "free", it …
