Super GunWorld 2

It's great to have a developer that listens to user input. GunWorld 2 is a bit easier than it's predecesor, but still has that level of difficulty found in older games. Developed with the same retro-hardware limitations as the original, it remains a faithful love letter to the early era of gaming. A pause menu is a very welcome addition and the RPG elements spice things up a bit. As is to be expected from a studio with limited resources, certain parts of the game can be a bit rough, but the developer is already committed to and working on a 2.0 update that will bring more content and a lot of polish. Looking forward to the upcoming updates!

GunWorld 2 is a fun challenging old school platform game with a few well thought implementations that make it very unique.

I to swing knife. O to slide. Q/E to cycle seeds. Enter to pause. Shift to climb". Who does that?? Keys are not redefinable, there are [b]NO[/b] options whatsoever for [b]anything[/b] and ESc immediately exits the game to the desktop. It's practically unplayable with a keyboard. Sometimes I wonder why I even bother.. I pressed Esc. Those are idle hours. [b]Don't waste more time reading lengthy reviews.. time is of the essence![/b]

Super GunWorld 2 is a console ported retro pixel 2D platformer where you jump up and down and shoot things, with some mild RPG elements. The graphics are awful, lazy retro pixel graphics. The developers insult PC gamers with their admission they don't know how to write games for KB+M, and demand PC gamers must play the game with a console peasant children's toy gamepad. Gameplay is inferior to 1990's Super Mario Bros. While this is more polished than many of the thousands of 2D retro pixel platformers infesting Steam and making video gaming worse, that's like being the tallest midget. Impossible to recommend this shovelware.

This developper released Super GunWorld2. Keeping it brief: Knife still does not do nearly enough damage to ever be useful. Seeding guns and collecting them is even jankier and hard to use than it was in the abandonned demo. Guns dont do enough damage either. There is no sound effect when shooting. Animations are lame. The sprites are so ugly that often times I dont even know what I am looking at. Booted so called RPG mode and I think im controlling a... bird.. with his beak sticking out of a hoodie? Why is he all brown? Are those little girls in pink dresses or are they snails? At least two of the monsters i encountered, the gorilla and the green alien just stand there doing nothing.
