About Super Lone Survivor
As the masked protagonist, you must escape the city ravaged by disease, by any means necessary. Use stealth to scavenge food, or kill everything in your path. Nurture your mental health or descend into madness. How you survive is up to you. Multiple endings reflect all the actions you take, great or small.
Super Lone Survivor is a remaster of the original game with extra content and features. It has been completely rebuilt in a new engine. There's improved lighting and shaders, 4K and higher support, controller support, parallax scrolling. Additionally the game contains a new 4:3 presentation and all of the original art has been extended in height to support this taller aspect ratio.There is new content exclusive to the game, hidden areas, two new sidequests, new foods to craft, new enemy types and new combat tools. There are also now three difficulty settings. The game includes remastered audio in higher quality, and nearly an album's worth of new music. There are 24 in-game Steam Achievements.
Controller Support Notes: Steam Input should be disabled to use PS3 / PS4 / PS5 / Nintendo Switch Pro controllers. Currently only supports wired controllers.

A game I played on a whim because I was going through my Backlog and Ended up Absolutely Loving it. Super Lone Survivor is a homage to classic Survival Horror Games such as Silent Hill as it originally was developed to be a project that would turn into a silent hill demake, playing the game you can very clearly see the inspiration. The game makes you juggle different stats throughout your playthrough; Sanity, Hunger, and Exhaustion. You find items along the way and most necessities are very scarce. The atmosphere of the whole game is really what captivates you inside this universe as you traverse through an apartment building infested with horrid creatures with minimal ways to fight back. The other half of the game will have you explore the town you inhabit which are filled with more monsters and things you can find. Along your journey, you will be introduced to side characters that will give you optional quest and its up to you if you wish to help. While playing, you will need to make decisions that will impact your survivability rate. Awesome atmosphere, attention to detail, story is mind blowing when you piece it together, exploration and cooking and little things like that make this a really fun little 2d horror game. Definitely worth its price in my opinion.

The visuals and audio create a great atmosphere. Really liked the art style, ambience and sound effects.
When I was a kid, I watched a lot of horror games. This was one of the many, and I remember thinking I'd love to play this some day. And then I remembered it recently. But not the name. I searched the internet, looking up things like "Horror game with smiling protag that's a mask" and "2D silent hill inspired game." And I found it. Lone Survivor. This game is heavily inspired by Silent Hill, and is a straightforward 2D survival horror game. But the plot is not straightforward. If I have a word of advice: sometimes you just need to take your medicine and sleep it off, you know? Great game.
