So I've played most of the games in the Magincia series, and this game is EASILY the worst. It honestly feels lazy. It lacks the depth of the and the feeling of "The Great Tournament", "The Great Tournament 2", and even "Life of a Mercenary". The reason quickly becomes obvious, this game has roughly 200,000 less words than The Great Tournament 2/Life of a Mercenary, AND 100,000 less words than The Great Tournament. This game lacks the depth and the emotion of any of the previous titles. Without the emotion, good story, and somewhat memorable characters of the other games, I would have to recommend people skip this entry.4 found this helpful
The game is a good concept, but you are the lord of this keep for what feels like a few days and you have to deal with a barbarian invasion, bandits and a civil war in quick session and the ending felt so freaking rushed. I wish this game had been essentially the same but much longer for these major events to pass because you barely get a chance to actually grow you castle. :/ I have played other entries in the 'series' Idk in the same universe and I just wish this focused solely on your castle, and growing and becoming rich but you barely have any opportunity for that due to constantly recruiting peasants to die in your two or three brief battles. Essentially this game could be completed in a hour if you know how to win the big battles, which is essentially make money and buy lots of mages lol.1 found this helpful
Love it. One of my all time favourite hosted games.
