This publisher 8floor managed to arranged 1 card game and then Copy-paste it with different sfx, wallpapers and made 200+ games.4 found this helpful
It's your classic solitaire game alright, and that's about it. I have no idea why they named it "School Witch" as one such is never seen or mentioned. The levels are named and have backgrounds that could indicate a story, but if there is one I didn't get it. As an experienced solitaire-player I found it way too easy, even the harder levels. I just felt like I was grinding for no reason and I'm glad I bought this when it was 90% off. If you want a more intriguing, story rich, rewarding solitaire game, I would recommend Fairy Solitaire.2 found this helpful
Sweet Solitaire: School Witch from Somer Games and 8floor is a casual card puzzle built around a familiar solitaire variant, presented through a lighthearted magical school theme. It’s a game that clearly prioritizes ease of entry and relaxed pacing, offering a structure that can be understood almost immediately while providing enough gradual challenge to keep players engaged over a longer sequence of levels. Rather than aiming for complexity or innovation, it leans into comfort and repetition, delivering a steady experience designed for short, low-pressure sessions. The core gameplay revolves around clearing cards by selecting ones that are either one rank higher or lower than the current active card, forming chains that can be extended with careful planning. This system is simple on the surface, but it encourages players to think ahead, particularly when dealing with layered layouts where certain cards are only revealed after others are removed. Early levels allow for experimentation and quick progress, while later stages demand more deliberate sequencing to avoid running out of moves. The balance between accessibility and light strategy is handled well, making it easy to learn …1 found this helpful
A long, fun, and challenging solitaire game. It gets harder the further along you get.1 found this helpful
As per usual, I got this one on sale for .49 cents USD. And I'm glad I did. Some of the solitaire games by this publisher are fairly balanced the whole way through. But with this title either I couldn't lose, or I couldn't get a single golden card. I'd played through about half the game, using jokers as needed as you often can't win a hand without them. It was easy enough. Then, levels where I couldn't get a single card repeatedly. Not just challenging, I mean the entire deck was filled with duds. I'm guessing this was pay to play at one point maybe? And those would be the stages to buy a ridiculous amount of jokers. To me that's not fun, but I'm happy some people liked the title. Overall, I couldn't recommend this game, even on sale.
This is a sweet little card game. I got it on sale. Really enjoy playing it sometimes. It's a traditional solitaire game...not much else can be said?
