[Pay-to-Play] This is a 2D platformer game, the controls are WASD for movement, 'E' to start a stage / interact with objects i.e. the glove; I manage to get this game for free :) (got it as a steam key reward for activeness in a discord giveaway server) The achievements are pretty easy to get and levels are pretty straight-forward, some stages you are able to cheese it i.e. take damage for few secs of invincibility to bypass some obstacles It starts off easy and a little tough on the later stages (Location 6, stage 6 onwards) but overall it is possible to complete it in under 40 mins or less :) Tags: [Cute] [Pixel] [Easy] [Short] [Platformer] [Obstacle Course]9 found this helpful
Swift Elf is a "template flip", that is to say, it's a "game" that has been produced by copying a game template from GameMaker Studio, changing a few things, then dumping the barely functional "product" on Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab. In this case it was a GameMaker Studio template for doing a simple retro platformer game. GameMaker Studio is a very poor quality game construction kit, and results in terrible games like this one. No professional effort was made in terms of game development, using a game construction kit requires no game development talent, and unsurprisingly produces products that have little to no value as games, especially when compared to the work of professional developers who create genuine products for gamers. It's almost as bad as an outright asset flip.8 found this helpful
Its good, game feels floaty and is buggy, cool idea for higher difficulties (game speed is increased) collect all the gems at the highest speed for true gamer status.3 found this helpful
Nice and decent platformer. Nothing new, nothing bad. Decent price!1 found this helpful
Fun little easy platformer. Appropriately priced. Give it a try :) Im on a quest of at least trying every game in my library, of which I got plenty from all kinds of bundles, not all though. If you are interested in my journey, check out my other reviews :)
