Syncers is a really fast space brawler that I liked mainly because it does not waste time getting me into a match. The whole idea is built around browser based PvP, with low poly spaceships battling in a compact arena. I appreciate how direct the game is because I can choose a team, join a server and get into the action without dealing with a huge amount of extra progression or clutter. The combat is built around moving through the arena, positioning my ship and trying to get the advantage over the other side. The top down viewpoint makes it easy to understand the battlefield, but the physics and open space still give the movement some freedom. I enjoyed the feeling of constantly adjusting my position instead of simply pointing at an enemy and firing. The multiplayer focus is clearly the heart of the experience. Matches are designed to start quickly, and I like that the game aims to keep everyone focused on the fight rather than introducing battle passes or complicated progression systems. It's a laughably poor quality low poly 2.5D arena shooter with little spaceships that you steer around and shoot at nobody with because it's the year 2026 and PvP gamers aren't playing browser games with toxic cash shops in them. It's a dead PvP game, and it's time for us to have a post-mortem to see some of the reasons this failed.
