This game replicates that in a VR world. The game is crazy hard. I have streamed it for over 5 hours and only made it to the 1st boss once and i'm told there are a lot of levels after him so i'm either really rubbish at games or this really is a challenging. Its not a perfect game so don't expect a nice polished AAA title or Half life graphics because you wont get them but you know what some game don't need all that razzmatazz they just need to be playable and this is playable. With hidden areas to look out for where you can pick up grenades, swords health and shields you have a lot to to do its not just shooting and dodging bullets. Now as i mentioned the graphics are not amazing but i would say the music is. The Dev have done a good job of making catchy music for the levels and if you are like me your going to be spending a long time on each level. The dev is also really responsive to feedback and has already fixed some bugs i originally found and implemented some suggestions on how to improve the game so you ca…

This is the VR shooter game I've been waiting for. If you love old school platform shooters, then this one is for you. It's challenging yet addictive. This is not your average shooter game and it just might take you sometime, but you won't want to stop. The graphics remind me of the old school 2D platform shooters and the fact before hitting a checkpoint, you'll always go back to the beginning when you die. Or, fall off the platform.. haha. There are hidden rooms with med packs and weapons, so keep an eye out for those. You never know when you'll need something. It runs really smoothly, which impressed me. I didn't feel any motion sickness, which really makes me happy. It means I can keep going. I am a huge fan of indie games and shooter games. The more challenging, the better. This one definitely takes that on. I am having a lot fun with this one so far. I will be heading back in for more. I also checked out the Oculus App Lab version (Paid). This game is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hard. Just like the old days, but a little harder, perhaps. And in VR! A great retro style, Mega Man/Metroid, type game. With my short experience, I'd say it's more in the style of Mega Man, though. If you want a challenge, like the old days, you will not regret your purchase. The price is right and even though it looks a bit rough, and AI may be a lot OP, as well as, a bit dumb, the game achieves what it intended on. I haven't cared much for platformers, since the NES days, but this game really puts me back in the mood. This is an excellent addition to any old school gamer's library. So, go ahead... Grab a copy. Any cheaper and it'd be free.

First off, let me say that I did receive this game for free for feedback on this game after I reached out to the developer. I was interested in this game because of how the community was buzzing with how much of a challenge this game is. THEY ARE RIGHT. This game gives you all the feels of nostalgia from the old school Mega Man era. If you are a fan of Mega Man in any capacity this game is for you. The challenge of completing this game is very satisfying. Not only does it have a great soundtrack but the game just constantly wants you to get better and the reward for doing so hits you in your feels. Everything about this game screams old school plat-former and gives you the rush that you need in virtual reality. Yes, i got the game for free but this is for sure a game worth paying for. Tried to like the game, but I quickly discovered that if you miss even 1 jump from platform to platform that you have to restart the entire level. Really needs some kind of save point / continue location to keep from being unrealistically frustrating. Also didn't seem to have working sound even though Steam VR was working correctly. There is also no settings menu of any kind.

No sound. One of the major selling points was supposed to be the soundtrack. This was supposed to be a VR megaman like game. Well.... so far it has little to no settings and absolutely no sound whatsoever. So not only is the game on mute but it's hella awkward to play.
