After about 20 minutes with Laserboy VR, I’m impressed by its vibrant synthwave aesthetic and tight, satisfying laser combat. The neon visuals and pulsing soundtrack create a hypnotic rhythm that makes each encounter feel energetic and immersive. The core mechanics are intuitive and fun, striking a great balance between precision shooting and chaotic movement. That said, the movement still feels a bit clunky at times, and the visual effects can get overwhelming during heavy action. Hit detection could use clearer feedback too. Laserboy VR is a blast! The core mechanics are easy to learn, super fun and intuitive, and each map feels thoughtfully designed with its own theme. I had the most fun using the shield power-up—it adds a whole new layer of strategy and just feels awesome to use. Looking forward to jumping into the new content soon. I picked up Laserboy VR from the under-$5 section just to try it out, and honestly, it’s been a ton of fun. I’ve only played about 20 minutes, but it’s got this cool neon vibe, and sometimes it’s just fun to blast enemies with lasers in slow moootion while groovy music plays.
