About Taiji
✦ AI summary
Taiji is a puzzle adventure where you toggle grid tiles to solve mysteries across visually distinct themed areas, each hiding clues in plain sight. The consistent interface strips away guesswork to let you focus purely on the logic of figuring out what each puzzle actually demands.
Taiji is an adventure puzzle-solving game set in a mysterious world full of puzzles. Unlike many adventure games, the puzzles in Taiji all use a consistent interface: a grid of tiles which can be toggled on or off.
Although this might seem simple, the consistency of the interface frees the player from guesswork or pixel hunting that happens in many adventure games. It is always clear what the player must interact with in order to solve the puzzle, but it is never entirely clear what they must do. There are many different areas in the game, each with their own visual and mechanical themes. As you explore this dense world, it is important to think hard and to pay close attention, as vital clues are sometimes hidden in plain sight.

The Witness is a better value on sale, but if you've had your fun with that, this is a high-quality après while you wait for Order of the Sinking Star. Great music.1 found this helpful
Great puzzle game!
kinda like a 2d version of the witness with weaker puzzles and slightly weaker logic still enjoyed it there are some parts of the map you can clip through and get your character stuck
MWAHAHAHAAHAHA PUZZLES AND MORE PUZZLES AND MORE PUZZLES MWAHAHAHA 10 hours into the game, and i've been grinning like an idiot the past hr uncovering more and more of this lovely little puzzle world
The Witness' little brother. Not surprised to see Jonathan Blow in the credits. Pleasing world, clean and clear puzzles, pure logic, fair progression. Zero bug encountered. Must-do for puzzle lovers.
very entertaining set of logic puzzles. the clues being in the structure and environment kept me from getting stuck more than a couple times. enjoyed exploring the world.
