A fun sub-5 hour game that runs very smoothly. The combat isn't too in-depth, but it doesn't need to be and that's okay. The puzzles are a bit too simple, but at least they vary things up each chapter and I love the visual effects of them. Just all-in-all very solid

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is an absolute masterpiece of atmosphere and presentation. It may not always be the most exciting game mechanically, and some players might find the slower sections a little boring, but the overall experience is something truly unique. The combination of visuals, sound design, music, and performance creates an incredibly immersive journey. The way the game presents Senua's perspective makes the player feel much closer to her struggles, creating an experience that is difficult to compare with other games. Combat is simple but satisfying, while exploration and puzzles are more about maintaining the atmosphere than providing a major challenge. The real strength of Hellblade is not complex gameplay systems, but the emotional journey and the incredible attention to detail. It is a shorter experience, but one that stays in your memory long after finishing it. Really like the implementation of psychosis in this game. Very good writing and storytelling. Doesn't feel forced for the sake of awareness. Combat is good. Acting is good. Puzzles are good. Worth much more on sale.

Sometimes the end of a journey isn't finding someone... It's accepting that the time has come to let them go. P.S. Perhaps the hardest battle isn't the one we fight, but accepting that some things were never ours to hold on to.
