If you're searching for a brain-scratcher that boasts elegant puzzles with no less elegant solutions, look no further. The Lost Artifacts is a second instalment of a browser game duology I used to play on Kongregate. In this chapter, Questy is an established hero of the Talesworth Kingdom... who drank away all of the money he made during his previous adventure. Luckily, there's another threat to get rich off. Some Necromancer is up to no good, so our boy is about to obtain a few artifacts and kick his ass. But the road leading to his layer is long and paved with clearly defined 3-star challenges. Swanky, but I think the dev should upload the first part, too. The puzzles were just as solid and the unique eye-popping art style looked better. I digress. Our hero is a braindead dumbass who'd fall in a pit or run in circles forever without your guidance. All he needs to do is get through a perilous labyrinth full of fiends and traps, one room at a time. To accomplish that task, you get to indirectly control Questy's actions by placing different lures and blockers on his way. Yeah, like Lemmings! Excellent successor to the Flash game
One of my all time favorite puzzle games since its original release as an online flash game. You use a kind of graphical programming logic to lead an adventurer through each level. It's really intuitive and most puzzles can be solved in several ways. I found the difficulty to be perfectly balanced, requiring a good amount of thought and planning without being insultingly easy or frustratingly hard. A short game that doesn't overstay its welcome, it took me about 5 hours to 100%.
Like the talesworth puzzle games on kongregate
This is a fun little puzzle game. I have not gotten gold on very many levels... but I love how you can still progress through by figuring out the "easy" ways.
Fun little game, with well rounded difficulty and variety for a few hours of play
