A bit boring and without much flair. Visuals are nice but gameplay feels basic. Jump, glide and attack. Levels are boring to be honest and you want to finally finish them. Background scenery is changing between a few stages and that's ok. Checkpoints are scarce and character can take only one hit, so lots of repeating. If you're looking for simple platformer it might be ok.
4 found this helpful
I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing. Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side. With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of y…2 found this helpful

Talewind, developed and published by WindLimit Studios, is a beautifully crafted 2D platformer that merges old-school challenge with a unique elemental twist built around the power of wind. The game opens in a peaceful little village resting at the foot of a towering mountain, a place once blessed by endless gusts of air that kept life flowing. When those winds begin to falter, the tranquil world faces decline, and a young boy sets off on a journey to climb the mountain and restore balance. What immediately stands out is the game’s aesthetic—a hand-painted presentation full of color and life, with softly drawn environments that evoke the serenity of a watercolor painting. Its visual tone gives the impression of a gentle, breezy adventure, but underneath that calm exterior lies a tough, precision-based platformer that demands timing, patience, and persistence. The game’s story is minimalist by design, functioning primarily as a background motive rather than a central narrative drive. It does not linger on dialogue or exposition, instead letting the landscapes and small environmental details imply a deeper mythology. Ancient monuments, scattered ruins, and fading gusts of air sugges…
