About The Wind and the Wisp
The Wind and The Wisp is an adventure game about two best friends. One who has passed away and awoken as a ghost in a mysterious broken garden. And one who is still alive and misses their friend dearly. Through the combination of traditional input methods and the power of your breath, control both characters and join them on their journey through grief as they bridge the divide and bring life and structure back to the broken garden together. The Wind and the Wisp is a story about love and loss, and seeks to build a sense of connection in the wake of loneliness.

The idea is that the price of admission is purely your time. So potentially, it should be worth a try at least. But... this game did nothing for me, except for the soundtrack, so please let me explain why. The art style is OK although the screenshots look much better than the animation itself. And for something with visuals this simple (which is not a bad thing!) it seems weirdly optimized. The whole game ran well except the cloud parts where it would stutter hard. Gameplay is super basic, mostly just moving around, sometimes hitting the 'blow' button or blowing in the microphone. And actually, the only unique gimmick is the blowing into microphone. Which honestly felt much better to just press a button instead. While fun at first you get over the microphone but rather quick. Playable on Steam Deck but I, for some reason, had to do some rebind of the controller settings. I was stuck in menu until I selected Gamepad with Mouse Trackpad. I blew in the mic so hard while repairing the bridge and I got spit all over the place. I suggest just pressing the space bar instead.
The artstyle was incredible and the mechanics so much fun! I also love how it's also included a way to play even if you don't have a microphone. The soundtrack was absolutely stunning and the story and message left me crying a little bit at the end, overall 10/10 I loved it sm
