About Tankazooka
Tankazooka is a single-player platformer where players follow a small tank travelling with its convoy when it rolls onto a landmine, gets blown up and breaks its sprockets. Now, the tank has to travel through different environments to catch up to its convoy, using its barrel gun to shoot and jump forward in a crumbling world being tarnished by war.Traverse through the 3 different environments and try and get the fastest score you can. Discover short cuts, work out better strategies, but be careful not to fall and lose your progress.

"Tankazooka" is a simple and pointless platformer-like 2D action game where you control a roken military tank and propel it by a mobile-phone like aim-and-shoot mechanism... shooting makes you jump. The game concept is poor and the visual presentation is worse, so it's no surprise this failed very badly on Steam Direct. It feels like a relic from the late 1990's/early 2000's Adobe Flash era of a gaming. But this has been published on Steam alongside contemporary, cutting edge PC games. I didn't build a gaming rig just to use it to play glorified browser/Flash games, and neither did every other dedicated PC enthusiast out there. Steam isn't here to compete with Chrome and Firefox. On the topic of visuals, the weak looking 2D retro assets seem like they'd be more at home in a browser game or a mobile app. 3D graphics accelerators hit the mainstream of PC gaming in the mid 1990's with cards like the ATI Rage and Voodoo3D, there's no excuse for such poor 2D graphics in 2026. That alone is enough to disqualify this for recommendation. Now onto pricing and value.
