About Termalloc

Termalloc is a top-down 3D shooting game. You can move forward/backward and left/right, but you can not jump.

There are 22 pentagon-pillar-like terminals in the field, and your mission is connect all of them to the server.
While connecting, terminals turn yellow, and green if connection is complete.

Guards are coming to stop you. Shoot them to keep yourself safe.
Guards get faster every time, and more and more are coming.
Guards sometimes drop a coin which you can pick up and buy upgrades.

What little fun this game might be is completely destroyed by absolutely broken collision detection mechanics. ..Oh don't misunderstand, the collision for the enemies touching you work every time, but your shots move right through the enemies over and over and over making this game impossible to enjoy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wHtR49s_IkA Note that the game opens in a very small window and cannot be made fullsize and it also has no settings at all. You cannot make the window bigger, you cannot change the volume. But you can die over and over and over because your bullets fly right through the incoming enemies! ONE IMPORTANT NOTE: Looking at the video of gameplay I recorded, I notice that I was getting 15-20 FPS while playing this game, and this is on a very capable gaming PC with an intel i7 10700 CPU, 16 GB of RAM and an Nvidia GeForce 2060 Super video card. There is NO reason that a game with graphics this simple should be running so poorly on my PC. Broken Collision = Broken Fun. Broken Fun = Not Recommend. NOT RECOMMENDED. - Avoid this broken and maddening game like the plague.

"Termalloc" is a very poorly made tech demo... it's a top down shooter with a few upgrades and a gimmick where you have to run between a bunch of pillars to "connect" them by.. uhh.. standing next to them and holding down the spacebar. What amazing fun. This is surely what gaming is supposed to be. Okay, sarcasm over... this was a complete and utter failure for obvious reasons. The graphics here are particularly awful, so bad that it actually stands out as one of the worst looking games on Steam. Quite an accomplishment. It's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. It's free... now, but it wasn't before. The developer was charging $2 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It's a nice gesture for the game to be given away for free, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. It's also a bit of a slap in the face to anyone who paid money for this... nobody got refunded. Despite having no …
