TERMINAL22 is a mix of bullet hell and puzzle gameplay, utilizing the aesthetic of an old operating system terminal. Hack into any system you can find, dig around in the files and uncover the secrets about your identity, the testing program, project BEYOND and the company behind it.

Hack into any system you can find, dig around in the files and uncover the secrets about your identity, the testing program, project BEYOND and the company behind it....before long you may realize that you might not be the only one looking into this.
- One of the two main elements of gameplay is hacking. Through the game you will need to hack into many different devices. This is done through a navigating your way through a bullet hell arena and finding all of the "Security Nodes" in order to break the security of the machine and access it.
- Once getting into the machines, you will partake in the second major part of the gameplay, the discovery. Dig through the system by using terminal commands, discover files, go through them to learn the necessary information to progress further in the game.

This game is SO COOL. I absolutely suck at bullet hells, but the balance between the bullet hell sections and the terminal sections is perfect for me-- I find the file-searching really fun and interesting, and the bullet hell breaks it up really nicely. the aesthetic is also just so great. the music and the visual style and the atmosphere... i really genuinely love it. not to mention how hooked i am in the story. really clever game, and the amount of work and love poured into it is so so clear. i highly recommend TERMINAL22!!!7 found this helpful
Even if the gameplay is simple, it's really nice. Don't expect a linux shell experience. Piecing together the story is a fun thing to do, seeing how each characters interact with eachother... The dev is really invested in the game, really open to suggestion, really nice to interact with him.5 found this helpful
