About Terra Mystica
Terra Mystica is a strategy game with a simple game principle and very little luck involved: You govern one of 20 factions trying to transform the Landscape on the game board in your favor in order to build your Structures. On the one hand, proximity to other players limits your options for further expansion, on the other hand though, it provides some benefits during the game. This conflict is the source of Terra Mystica's appeal.
Structures may be upgraded to provide even more resources, like Workers, Pries
The 20 artfully designed factions, each having unique special abilities, as well as the exchangeable bonus cards allow for a large number of possible game plays that constantly keep this game entertaining!
Features of Terra Mystica:
Includes the Add On "Fire & Ice"
- easy to learn: the interactive Tutorial helps to get a start in this deep strategy game
- hard to master: Enormous depth and interesting decisions without being too complex to understand. The best strategy always wins!
- replayability: always changing and challenging game experience with new combinations. You want to try all fantasy races! An ideal game for hardcore gamers!
- challenging developments: only strategy and tactics count - not luck!
- game replays: Analyse your best games or learn tricks from the pro settlers
- multiplayer: Challenge the best players across all platforms world wide or play against your family and friends
- three computer difficulties: Try to beat the computer opponent
- newest update: This game uses the newest rules edition of the board

I understand why you can not chose which factions to play when doing multiplayer but why not when playing local?? Makes no sense. If I want to try out a faction, there is no way to do it.11 found this helpful
Terra Mystica is one of my favourite board games, but the poor interface and lack of developer support really make this adaptation disappointing. On some of the menus (cult track, for instance), it is very hard to figure out what magical point on the screen you have to click and how many times in order to take the action you want to. After being stuck on a screen for 10 minutes I had to look up in the forums how to take the action (it turns out that when you press on a certain part of the screen the game registers your choice and makes a banner disappear, but with no confirmation that a choice has been made - very poor design.) The fact that that forum post is years old proves that this publisher (Digidiced), ported over the game "well enough" for a quick buck, and doesn't stand behind its games. There are many better platforms to play this game on. Don't support developers who don't support their games.7 found this helpful
I tired to get behind this and felt this was like over-complicated version of Catan - Requesting a refund. I did not enjoy playing this.1 found this helpful
Complicated game and takes a long time to gain a decent level of competence. I’m still working out if I think it’s a worthwhile exercise! For learning to play without annoying real opponents I think this app is pretty good: the AIs are easily good enough to be challenging. It’s a bit buggy though (it has frozen completely on me a few times - mainly when I used 'undo' actions) and I would like a bit more guidance (e.g. hover over things to see some explanation tooltips). I haven't explored the 'ranked game' option much yet - the only time I tried I didn't get opponents quickly enough - but I would hope the freezes would not occur in that scenario... I really liked the little sonic motifs for each character/faction.1 found this helpful
fun and great board game to play
the same is a great strategy game. the port to "video game version" could be better though. The UI is not as accessible as many other board games turned virtual
