The tutorial leaves you guessing, which a tutorial should not do. Save that for the main game. Missing lots of labels and UI bits like scrollbars. Will give you tons of cards you don't need and not the ones you need for the active quest. Is there only a limited number of each card? No idea, since the UI has no such indication. Hopefully these design decisions can be fixed and I can give a thumbs up in the future.
Very thoughtful and engaging but at the same time chill game! Great art style and fantasy backdrop. Hope to see more DLC or content updates!
I wholeheartedly recommend this game. Very relaxing, but also itches your brain in a way where you're not just mindlessly placing buildings the whole time. On the surface, it seems like a simple game where you just place buildings according to adjacency bonuses (similar to Civ 6, but with no warfare). However, the more familiar you get with the merged building schematics, the more the game truly becomes alive, and you're able to plan ahead for a massive sprawling empire of your own choosing as you build from your keep up. There are several modes. Kingdom being the "normal" mode, and then there are scenarios and puzzles, which are also a good time. The Egypt DLC is pretty decent as well, but it's a different feel from the base game (in a good way). I also really enjoy the soundtrack, and the visuals are really nice too. Looking forward to future updates.
Fun little civ building puzzle game.
Very pretty, but not intuitive and lacking in explanations. Im no stranger to games like this, like dorfromantik or islanders, this fails to scratch the same itch though due to a lack of active feedback, feeling more like a 4x game. Is it a bad game? To me, yes, but im a picky person. Your mileage will vary greatly. The review asks `would you recommend this game`` - i would not.
Its like civ but only focusing on ur civ, no diplomacy. Its really relaxing, the music is great, I can see myself getting lost for hours in this. 10/10 recommendation.
