I like Tetris. Tetris is one of my most-played games throughout my entire life. I love Tetris. I want to play Tetris. But I can't justify the price of other Tetris games nor do I like the aesthetic/theme of the newest Tetris games. I just want normal Tetris. I find this game and it reminds me of normal Tetris. To be fair, I didn't expect this to be similar to Tetris, and I expected it to be much different from normal Tetris. I was right but I didn't expect it to be THIS different. This feels like a game that's made like Tetris, but its sole purpose is to make you hate Tetris. The blocks are unpredictable, it's sometimes sticky and there's no telling when the block would just immediately stick or not like it does sometimes, like the blocks just have a mind of their own to decide when do they want to suddenly stick or not. The controls are unresponsive. You can only turn one way. The new blocks are... interesting, I can't say good or bad. I don't like the fact you can't "hold" blocks but I don't think that was much of an issue... until the horrible controls. You can't really change the controls without changing the entire button input outside of the game itself which I find stupid. …

It's certainly the cheapest Tetris game on Steam, but I'd recommend saving up twice its cost to get one of the Puyo Puyo Tetris games instead. When it's on sale for 90% off, maybe check it out, but you might still feel better playing one of the Tetris projects on Scratch. The clearest negative is the added pieces, which these guys definitely had to do for certain reasons. Some people may find it to be a cool variation, some may be neutral, and some will downright hate it. Personally, the thing I find the most annoying is that weird voice that you hear when playing. It's oddly loud compared to the rest of the game, and my eyebrows tense up whenever I hear it.

Fun Tetris on Steroids.

Tetraminos is a colorful, energetic tribute to the long-lived falling-block puzzle formula, developed by Sanuk Games and published by Nacon. Instead of reinventing the wheel, it leans into familiarity—blocks descend, you rotate and place them, lines clear, and the speed ramps up—but it adds enough playful variations and modern presentation flourishes to carve out its own identity. From the outset, the game feels designed for casual enjoyment, lively multiplayer sessions, and accessible puzzle fun rather than deep mechanical innovation. Its straightforward structure echoes classic designs while offering a more contemporary visual flair and a handful of twists intended to surprise long-time puzzle fans. The core gameplay will feel instantly recognizable: align and clear lines to keep your board from filling, manage faster fall speeds as the session progresses, and aim for combos to maximize points. However, Tetraminos introduces several new shapes in addition to the traditional tetrominoes, altering the familiar rhythm of block placement. These extra pieces—some symmetrical, some irregular—demand a moment of adaptation and can either refresh the old formula or disrupt the hardwired …
