[h1]A Weirdly Charming Indie Adventure That Almost Gets It Right[/h1] I went into The Adventures of Tree not really knowing what to expect, and honestly, it turned out to be one of those games that sits right in that “flawed but fun” category. It’s a quirky little indie RPG where you play as a tree trying to survive and fight back against these strange enemies called Florps, all while exploring a pretty open-ended world. Right from the start, the game gives you a surprising amount of freedom. You’re dropped into this colorful island and pretty much left to figure things out on your own. There’s no heavy hand-holding, which I actually appreciated. You can roam around, pick up quests, fight enemies, gather food, and slowly build up your character. There’s a mix of RPG mechanics, survival elements like hunger and stamina, and a bit of exploration that keeps things interesting. What kept me playing was the sheer variety of things to do. There are tons of quests, hidden items, and little secrets scattered around the world.
