Arboreal (2018)

"Arboreal" is an abandoned Early Access top down 3D rendered low poly "Farming" game with a bit of action and visual novel stuff thrown in, although it doesn't really go anywhere. The developer abandoned this title 6 years ago. It will never be completed. This features fairly low quality low poly 3D visuals which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and it's clear the developers behind this didn't understand that. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 14 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.

This is a free to play game on steam, that offers more than games you have to pay for. It runs very smoothly and has an interesting storyline. This game is worth a try if you would like to play something different for a couple of hours. Review at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xwWbfOJVg6M

С первых минут погружаешься в атмосферу умиротворения, где каждый элемент, от нежной акварельной графики до чарующего саундтрека, работает на создание ощущения полного спокойствия. Суть игры сводится к исследованию живописных локаций и взаимодействию с окружающей средой, чтобы помочь маленьким лесным духам вернуться домой. Никакой спешки, никаких таймеров — только чистое медитативное удовольствие от решения пространственных загадок. Сложность нарастает плавно, подкидывая новые механики, которые интересно осваивать. Особо радует отсутствие какого-либо насилия или негатива, что делает 'Arboreal' идеальным выбором для расслабления после напряженного дня. Это игра, которая заботится о вашем ментальном состоянии, оставляя после себя приятное послевкусие гармонии.

It is an interesting game and a good idea but needs more work. It's a bit buggy and confusing to figure out what to do and where to go, and my game keeps crashing in the lava quest area when I open certain chests. I would give it another go though if it gets updated but I can't play it until then because of the crashing.
