NOT the Porco Rosso adventure I was looking for..... AI used, and poorly used at that. Repetitive, soulless, slop.

enjoyed this game prior to it going full-tilt on AI, sadly won't be returning to it and it's too late for me to request a refund

I know it's a short review time, but I gotta punch my gripe in after the first line by Franci. PEOPLE EXIST. Hire Voice Actors instead of using GenAI. I'm fine if it's an LLM or similar, because those are tools where data still has to get inputted in some capacity, meaning you can't just spit in a sentence and get a 'solution'. GenAI on the other hand are just... downright thievery. If you went back in and changed out the lines with genuine actors - Hell, just take the damn voices out, leave it as a text-only - I bet you half the gripes people are posting about would disappear. I know for one that there is a good game under that moral quandary of AI, and honestly it seems like a lot of people do too.

This game felt like it had some potential. The flying is neat, but the combat is weak and the fetch quests are just annoying. My big problem though? AI voices. The devs couldn't be bothered to get ACTUAL PEOPLE to voice their game. I feel disgusted knowing I put almost ten hours into this game. If I could undo all of that and never have given these people my money, I would. Extremely disappointing from the perspective of an IRL pilot for whom a game like this should be a slam dunk.

Combines resource management with pirate combat in airplanes. Well paced game.
