This is possibly the funniest writing I've ever experienced in a game. Great voice acting, great characters and enemies. The art style is quite nice. Gameplay, controls, and platforming is competent. It is pretty linear but the self aware comedic narrative is worth your time in itself.1 found this helpful

Peak Indie Goodness, when I realized the true vertically of this game my Heart grow 100x sizes...This team are true artists. Zeno clash is OG indie kino.
It is a simple title in terms of gameplay, slasher with some platforming the verticality is not used in any particular way to enhance the gameplay which is a shame but the art direction of it all really makes it quite memorable. I don't think there is a second game that looks like that so if you want to play a cool looking game with some funny references to old sci-fi movies this is the one for you.
