Me while playing For Daddy To Work: "Why are people giving this negative reviews? I like it!" Me after getting the baby taken away from me for the first time: "This seems like it might get a little annoying." Me after getting the infernal screeching baby taken away from me for the 9th time after wandering through identical hallways with randomly-generated room numbers for an hour: "Video games are bad."8 found this helpful
i really believe there should be a neutral option for rating but as there isn't i'm going negative. this game is there style wise yet doesn't deliver with story or gameplay. GAMEPLAY- the first two chapters were good, the fridge inching closer is actually quite suspenseful and the level design for the second chapter was enjoyable...that's where it ends though... the third chapter has you running around a randomly generated hospital, you are given directions multiple times which you aren't supposed to follow, i was stuck for 30 minutes trying to follow left, right and forward instructions just to find out you just need to follow the direction on the sign that isn't a direction but a thing instead, making the directional instructions useless. then we have the next level... it was fine, out of all of them it was the least long and the most boring. THE LEVEL WHERE YOU DRIVE... one of the worst car driving sections iv'e ever felt with the excuse of "it's snowing" and it is the most back and forth section of the game, the amount of times you have to come back the gas station is mind numbing, not to mention the part where you have to go to the farm and if you die there you return t…1 found this helpful
Short, Boring, Broken, and just not scary. I've heard a bit about "The Fridge is Red" and pretty much all of what I've heard is good, but after having played the game, I can't figure out why anyone would have anything good to say about this game. The game has some pretty normal assets with a very heavy pixelation filter put over everything. This makes the game not quite feel like the old PSX games of old, but it DOES make it really hard to read in game, which comes up surprisingly frequently. This is more of an anthology series than a horror game. Each section has you doing something slightly different and playing through a slightly differernt story, but they all come down to being walking simulators with varying forms of challenge. Unfortunately, none of them are very interesting, and the stories being told are as bare bones as can be. On top of that, the game has supernatural elements, but once you complete a chapter, you'll find that it was actually just a truama response and nothing you saw really happened. This is the worst way to do any story, let alone horror. Nothing having actually occurred is just boring and makes the story not matter. On top of the game…1 found this helpful
the game is very buggy and is very easily softlocked i didnt even get to experience all the story lines and what they had to offer due to this.
Quite a lot of good ideas with potential, but for the most part, infuriating the player with tedious and directionless tasks is not how one should do horror.
Nice horror game
