The Gnorp Apologue is a fun, surprisingly short little idle game about beating the ever-loving crap out of a rock until you win. Solid concept, cute visuals, and surprisingly challenging - Gnorp takes what a lot of Idle games have (prestige system, rapidly escalating numbers, simple gameplay loops extrapolated to the extreme) and refines it into a solid, enjoyable package that never stuck around long enough to be irritating. If I had to make one single complaint about The Gnorp Apologue, it's mainly just the title. Mainly the brackets and the lack of capitalisation. That's my only real bugbear about this game - everything else you pay for is solid, charming and entertaining - as difficult or as easy as your understanding of the game gets. It's hard to imagine anything I'd really change (except that title), and no problems were had as a result of it's visuals, sound or game design. Overall, charming, solid, enjoyable and easily finished. Quality product all around!

A lovely incremental. (the) Gnorp Apologue is an extremely well balanced game, in where the you are limited on what you can do with every run. Also, with the ability to reassign prestige points, it allows you to try different builds to see what works for you. However, the game does not have an offline function, so you have to keep it running to stack resources. It does have a screensaver function, and I found it quite entertaining having it run on one screen while I'm doing something else. I've found this game quite addictive, especially with the cute graphics and the hilarious tool-tips. I implore anyone who enjoy this genre of games to give it a try.
