Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms

It's an idle game, kinda fun, a bunch of lore, and plenty of pay to win better packs. A fun game. Hard to get back into because the user interface is mediocre on a large monitor.

An idle game that demands to be running 24/7 because offline resource gains are abyssmal, eats up a huge amount of resources even with lowest graphics and a custom resolution, and suffers from memory leaks so you have to restart the game every 3-4 hours... If it was an idle game that you could consider yourself "done" with it after a month, that'd be fine, but this is an idle game that is designed with the idea that you'll play it for years due to the way meta stat gains, obtaining free champions, and farming their gear works. And yes, you can swipe your credit card for champions and their gear, including exclusives upgrades, which is probably why the grind is so tediously long in the first place. If you have a second PC/laptop you wouldn't mind running 24/7, then go ahead and try it since the team building can be fun, but you're better off finding an idle game that respects your time.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 — Addictive and Fun! Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms is an awesome game! I love collecting new champions, upgrading them, experimenting with different formations, and figuring out which characters work best together. There’s always something to work toward, whether it’s unlocking champions, completing adventures, participating in events, or making your team stronger. It’s also great that you can keep progressing without having to play nonstop. There’s a ton of content, and the Dungeons & Dragons characters and setting make it even better. Definitely one of my favorite idle games. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I don't know why, but I decided to dust off this game and give it a go again even though the last time I played was clear back in 2018, I guess I had wanted to see if it changed any, well, as one old saying goes, you can polish a turd and it'll still be a turd. This game is an atrocious cash grab that can't even get character voice response correct. It annoyed the hell out of me when I heard Caramon cry out like a woman getting ♥♥♥♥♥ slapped upon being hit by an enemy, seriously, Caramon of the Heroes of The Lance sounding like a wench in a slap match with someone, pretty sad that they pulled this crap on their game's anniversary, they make a joke of an iconic character of Krynn with a slap dash voice job, just like every other character on here. I'm just going to dump this garbage back in the dustbin where I found it and not bother with this insult to the characters of my all time favorite TTRPG that I played for more years than this sorry excuse for a game dev and publisher has even been around.
