About The Godfeather : A Mafia Pigeon Saga
From the creators of Puffington, Nippy Cats and Inflatality comes The Godfeather - a savage tale of feathered vengeance from the pigeon underworld.Used to be an honest boid could make a living... now your enemies have moved in and flocked up the whole operation. The Godfeather tasks you with taking back the old neighborhood- one borough at a time. It’s time to send a message… FROM ABOVE.

Use all the powers of pigeon persuasion to dominate the neighborhood. When HQ radios in with your next target, you’ll wanna pay a visit as soon as possible. SWOOP to strike fear in your enemies and POOP to take out your targets from above.
Loot dumpsters to reload your poop ammo and scour the neighborhood for the fabled Golden Twigs of Pigeon legend.
It's time for payback on all enemies of the organisation. Whether it's tree snitches, diners at brunch, enemy birds, rival suppliers, fleeing informants or fresh laundry just waiting to be redecorated - they all gotta go.

The enemy has spies everywhere. Get spotted by a cockatoo lookout and they’ll call in the heat instantly. Once that happens, you've got seconds before a drone comes to capture you. Find a tree or a dumpster to hide in until the heat's off, because once you get pinched- it’s game over.
Drones aren’t the only thing a boid has to worry about - cats stalk the rooftops, lawn Karens have garden hoses with your name on it and deadly owls are just waiting to swoop you at sunset.
Even soldiers need their down time. Visit the roost between runs to get fitted out with the very latest in boid technology. Upgrade your abilities, equip gadgets to give you the edge or get a whole new look to keep your plumage looking tight out there.

The Godfeather challenges you to survive brutal procedurally-generated neighborhoods from the suburbs to the boidwalk to the city - each filled with unique targets, hazards, increasing difficulty and deadly area bosses.
You mail fail, but dust off your feathers and take another run at victory. As you succeed, your legend grows and you edge closer to uncovering the dark secret at the heart of the pigeon mafia. Could you be the next Godfeather?

This is more difficult than Hades. Can't even get past the 1st boss.2 found this helpful
Love it. Great art style, Looks and runs great. More challenging than i thought it was going to be and a lot of fun. Highly recommended. 10/10 would crap on the neighbours again1 found this helpful
A fun, silly and well-designed arcadey game about pigeons and pigeons pooping on people.1 found this helpful
Quite a fun little game! Cute graphics, simple mechanics, and an unforgiving difficulty. Some tips to survive: - Figure out where the nearest tree is, before doing anything - There are only a limited number of tries (~1), before you have to start from the beginning (and I do mean the beginning) - Golden Twigs are on rooftops with the Cats - Controller controls are more intuitive. You could also buy the game on Android/iOS instead.
Such a charmingly addictive game, I picked this up after playing it at Generation Games in Sydney last weekend and I'm glad I did - I played it for the duration of my flight home which gave me time to really appreciate the effort that went into so many aspects of the game. As a TV/Video Game composer myself, the music is a stand out for me - in the sense that it works perfectly to compliment the game while also feeling nostalgic at the same time. I found myself taking my time in Da Roost so I could soak up the Twofeather Rag, which feels like a love letter to not only the mobster/mafia genre but also video games of the 90s by RARE such as Donkey Kong Country. Speaking of RARE, the gameplay reminds me of a rogue-like Blast Corps meets Grand Theft Auto with a bit of the brutal nature of coin-op arcade games like Ghosts 'n Goblins - you never seem to care that you're starting over! Although not currently SteamDeck verified, it runs great on the handheld and has quickly become my preferred way to play.
A fun little game that's surprisingly addictive. It's super satisfying to drop a well-aimed deuce on an unsuspecting bystander.
