✦ AI summary
Players have mixed feelings about this indie horror game, with some appreciating its atmospheric storytelling and solid sound design despite basic visuals, while others criticize the heavy use of AI-generated content (images and voices) and feel the short playtime doesn't justify the price. The game is generally seen as a decent experience for an indie project with good pacing and multiple endings, though most agree it needs more content, visual polish, and better optimization to truly stand out.
Absolute slop. AI images, AI voices. I wouldn't be surprised if the game was written by AI too. Charging $10 CAD for this in a genre filled with free, non-AI-made games is honestly wild.18 found this helpful
I'm not really a scary game player, so take that in mind when reading this review. This game provides an interesting story in a genre that is pretty saturated when it comes to movies and books, but not so much for video games. This story is dressed in basic interactive mechanics and great atmosphere. The atmosphere is what makes this game worthwhile. It hits it's highs and it's lows effectively. The timing felt just fine. As not to talk just about what I found good, here are some negatives I found. I find the visual fidelity a bit lacking, and the performance does not feel very optimized. Given that this is an indie game developed by a single person, I recommend trying it out.3 found this helpful
Overall I enjoyed the game a lot and would recommend it. For the price, and it being an indie game I found the experience very fun and worth the money. There is quite a bit of story to uncover by exploring and reading the collectable notes (I wish there was more of them to further flesh out the story), and I was pleasantly surprised to discover multiple endings to the game. Due to the indie level visual style and graphics the game can be goofy at some of the scary moments, but it also manages to hit the spooky and creepy atmosphere at the right times - I especially liked the sound design in the more intense moments of the game. I encountered a few bugs here and there, but nothing major. If there is some more visual polish and more time put into the game it could really stand out, especially since the alien abduction theme is not explored much in the video game genre.2 found this helpful
Had a good time playing this game. Considering it is a small budget 'boutique' game I genuinely enjoyed the atmosphere it created.1 found this helpful
I love the idea and I enjoyed the game. But the story is soooo short. I beat the game in 1,5 hours. Could use more mystery solving etc. - there is a lot of potential for expanding the game.
hell yeah
