The Last Birdling is a very good visual novel game with a beautiful story. The graphics are nice and the soundtrack is Chill and relaxing... I recommend it. 💗💗💗

This visual novel is a hidden gem. It tells the story of two little girls of different species trying to be friends in a world where their respective peoples hate one another, and their struggle to maintain their friendship as they grow up. It's heartwrenching and beautiful and one of the most emotionally resonant pieces of media I've ever consumed.

The Last Birdling, written by Invert Mouse, is an emotional & tear-jerking visual novel. Featuring an opportunity to uncover the [spoiler]dark[/spoiler] truths of each perspectives. Tayo, the proud archer daughter of Airin & Binamon, the remnant Birdling species on earth. The chapters feels short paced making it in my opinion easier to not get bored from 1 perspective's narrations. Each character features a choice that shapes the outcomes of their (bonded) friendships. Will they care for each other or will each go their own ways ? The choice lies in your hands.

I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing. Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side. Well-written visual novel with a beautiful and heartbreaking story about two little girls becoming friends, but the big problem is that their species hate each other. The story and different endings ripped my heart out, i recommend.
