Who are you going to meet in the first hours of the adventure?
Skye
Our heroine still has much to learn from the wisest druids in her grove. Even so, with only her blue cloak and a bag that can hold all the inventory items in the world, she must fight those who threaten her forest.
Woodland Spirit
Skye will never be alone on her mission. This spirit, who had also once been a druid, will guide the girl through the most difficult moments with his wise advice.
Tribal chief
As the leader of the druid village, he is tough and unyielding. He's always known how to run people from him, but now he'll need Skye's help.
Peddler Druid
This dirty looking and hungry druid will try to sell you some of his items on the outskirts of town. Don't trust him.

Among all the new indie point & clicks I played, this one looks the closest to MI's artstyle, to the point that character animations almost look traced from that game! This isn't a complaint, I actually like it very much because the Monkey Island games are my favorite adventures from the classic DOS era. This Monkey Island inspiration becomes even more obvious as you play through the game and find several references, including puzzles and situations reminiscent of those you encountered in MI 1 and 2. The musical theme of the villain reminded me VERY much of the LeChuck theme, which was absolutely intentional. The premise has a few similarities too, but not quite so blatant. The king and his evil court sorcerer want to destroy the druid forest and turn it into an amusement park. A forest spirit asks Skye, a young and inexperienced druid, to deal with the problem and save the forest. Skye's character bears some resemblance to Guybrush Threepwood: a little naive, …4 found this helpful
What an amazing game! Wasn't sure what to expect but played the free demo, loved it, then bought the full game and loved that too. The story is fine, characters are interesting and memorable, the music is great, but the thing that makes this game so good is the puzzles: they are so well designed and thought out. For most of the game there are multiple problems to tackle at any one time across a range of locations, and there is a nice logic to them that makes it really satisfying to progress. The puzzles really are the star of the show here. I liked how much interaction there was the environment, how many objects could be looked at or picked up. The characters and locations are re-used nicely as the storyline progresses so it feels like there is always value in returning to a previous location when stuck. A few of the puzzles have clearly been inspired by or are a fond nod to Monkey Island as well, which is nice, and I think any Monkey Island fans will feel really at home with this game. My only criticism is that there some more clues could have been given from Skye's reaction to trying certain things or when looking at certain things, just to nudge you along a bit in the r…
Totally brilliant, great animation, art and palette! Notably difficult and old school puzzles!
is gud
Just about gets a recommend on balance, but this is a game that varies wildly in quality. First part of the game - very few complaints other than some dodgy translations at times. Old school point and click, obvious Monkey Island vibes, lovely. At about the two-thirds point things take a nosedive. Full on moon logic puzzles (the frog??) (the mouse???), pixel hunting cranked up to eleven, lots of walking and clicking for not much progress. The ending is a disaster.
this is a great pnc adventure with really funny dialogue that cracked me up.
first time was when you look at the gun in the shaman's hut. second time was when you read the shaman's letter after the owl drops it and a couple of times after that.
the dialogue options also are at times hilariously written. the puzzles on the other hand can be pretty obtuse at times, but no worries, not too obtuse. they're comparable to mi 1 & 2's puzzles. in fact, the whole game is one of the few new, modern pncs that actually reminds me of monkey island. not only how the game looks, but the humor, the puzzles. it's amazing. too often people are quick to praise these kind of new pncs in reviews that try to capture the magic of old lucas arts games, but then when I try them myself, I end up being disappointed. not here! finally, found a pnc that deserves this high of a praise. I hope this won't bite me in the ass, as I still haven't finished the game, but am about ~60-70% through.
